When I get a sweet craving I try to stick to fresh fruit but sometimes it’s just not worth saying no to a bit of chocolate. After all, denying yourself your favorite foods is a surefire way to end up overindulging!
Instead, I aim for healthier options to still get the flavors I crave. This is a great choice if you’re craving a bit of chocolate.
1 banana, cut into 3/4-1 inch slices
3 tbsp chocolate chips (milk chocolate, semisweet, white… pick your favorite)
3 tbsp dried coconut shreds
1. Line a tray with parchment paper.
2. Put the chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 10 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until they’re all melted.
3. Dip each banana in the chocolate so half of it is covered and then dip the chocolate part in the coconut.
4. Place on the parchment.
5. You can let the chocolate harden or eat them while the chocolate is still warm.
